People missed Alex Anzalone in Week 13 because he was hurt. It looked like the Lions wouldn’t get Alex Anzalone back for Week 14. Anzalone was often and early in the action, but not over the right reasons.
He didn’t finish off D’Onta Foreman quickly enough and tried to hit him late twice, the second time getting called for an individual foul. That went well with the defensive holding call he made on the same play.
The Lions switched out Anzalone over Jalen Reeves-Maybin at the end for the second drive. For the rest of the half, Anzalone would play less. In the second half, he came back in a rage and put Khalil Herbert on notice with a hard hit.
Anzalone played much better in the second half, but he was still a big reason why the Lions were behind early because he made mistakes that aren’t like him.
The Lions play more effectively when Anzalone is healthy, so they’ll need to see more than just the Anzalone they had in the second half.
Dear Sir, welcome back! Cominksy had only made 15 stops all season before Week 14. Against the Bears, he would make a lot of them. They had 11 sacks toward the New York Giants on Monday, which showed how good their defense is.
He helped Aidan Hutchinson with his pass rush, which sparked the defense within the second quarter.
Cominsky also made some great tackles. In the middle of the second quarter, he made a great open-field hit on Justin Fields.
On Sunday, the Bears lost to the Lions 41–10. It was probably their worst game of the season. The run defense was bad all season, but against D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams, they were even worse.
With seven completions, Justin Fields matched a season low. Fields did make 7-11 passes in Week 2, but he was terrible (7-21) in Week 17. He got fired seven times because he kept the ball for too long in some situations.
But it wasn’t all his fault. The offensive line had a hard time. It’s no secret that the team doesn’t have many playmakers. In general, the Bears had a really bad game.
The Atlanta Falcons as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars played in London on Sunday. The Jaguars’ defense made some big plays, including a pick-six, which helped them win.
The day ended with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the New York Jets in a thrilling game where they came back from being down 17-0.
The Buffalo Bills’ offense easily beat the Miami Dolphins, giving the Dolphins their first loss of the season.
The Washington Commanders played the Philadelphia Eagles to overtime but lost, and rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua catches his first touchdown pass to help the Los Angeles Rams beat the Indianapolis Colts in overtime.
Both the defense and offense of the Dallas Cowboys beat Mac Jones and the New England Patriots. The San Francisco 49ers defeat the Arizona Cardinals to stay perfect at 4-0.

In a technical sense, yes, but that ought not to be the main focus right now after a big loss to the Titans.
For the top spot in the AFC, the Dolphins are one game behind the Ravens. In the AFC East, they are just two victories ahead of the Bills.
Their first goal should be to win their group. They could win the division in Week 16 if they beat the Jets as well as the Bills lose to the Cowboys.
But the Dolphins still have games against Dallas, Baltimore, and Buffalo, so nothing is set in stone.
