Eibar follows the rhythm of direct promotion with Quique González

MADRID, 2 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Eibar got three golden points in the upper zone this Wednesday by beating Lugo (1-0) with Quique’s goal in the 93rd minute, while Villarreal B also beat Real Oviedo in extremis (2-1) and Mirandés prevailed (1-0) against Tenerife, in games for the lower zone of matchday 14 of LaLiga SmartBank.

The Basque team once again took advantage of setbacks up front, as they did last Sunday, and also achieved it again thanks to a goal from Quique González. Three days after signing the 0-1 in Malaga, the armory striker awarded the three penalty points against Lugo. Stoichkov was able to avoid such excitement at Ipurua, but missed another penalty in the 67th minute.

Gaizka Garitano’s men improved in the second half and, after forgiving, they found a second chance that Quique took advantage of, leaving Lugo on the verge of the relegation zone, with a victory in 10 games. Eibar has 25 points, fourth, to Burgos and Alavés’ 27, and UD Las Palmas’ 26.

Meanwhile, the ‘submarine’ came to the surface in discount time with the 2-1 that Mbacke signed and that meant the yellow comeback for Oviedo in the relegation zone. The Asturian team went ahead through Obeng, already in the second half, but Villarreal was better in an outcome that allowed them to place themselves in the middle of the table.

In addition, Mirandés beat Tenerife (1-0) at the end of Wednesday thanks to a great goal from Gelabert. The midfielder, who returned after 10 months of injury, gave the victory to Anduva’s men, who did not get them out of the red zone but made them chain three days adding to get out.
