The Competition Judge has estimated the postponement of the match of the eighth day of Primera Iberdrola that the Eibar Sports Society and Football Club Barcelona were going to play this Sunday at Unbe. On Wednesday the gunsmith club announced two positives in the squad and a third by a member of the coaching staff, forcing them to postpone the match that was to be played on Thursday against Sevilla FC.
In its resolution, the Single Competition Judge states that “Today this Competition Judge has been made aware of the communication sent by SD Éibar Femenino, in which by means of a medical certificate it is reported about the existence of several positive cases confirmed by COVID-19 within its squad and the preventive isolation of close contacts (a total of ten players and four technicians). Consequently, and given the exceptional circumstances and force majeure applicable to the specific case, this body proceeds to assess the possibility of postponing the match corresponding to Day 8 of the RFEF Women's Soccer First Division, which, in principle, was scheduled for this weekend against FC Barcelona Women ”.
In the same resolution, the Single Competition Judge also adds that the postponed match will be played on “a new date as close as possible in time to be determined by this body as soon as all the circumstances that allow it to be disputed are proven.”
