Eibar extended its good streak this Sunday by beating Real Zaragoza (1-0) on matchday 26 of LaLiga Hypermotion to get closer to the lead of Leganés and take advantage of the defeat of third place, Racing de Ferrol in its visit to Burgos (2- 0).

The 'gunsmith' team won in Ipurua with a header goal from Bautista after seven minutes, two draws and four wins in the last six games, to add 45 points in second position, two from the lead. Eibar took advantage of a favorable day to establish itself in the direct promotion zone.

The Basques' streak prevailed over that of a Zaragoza team that had gone eight days without losing. The bosses saw their attempt to get closer to a 'Top 6' that becomes more expensive every day stopped. Burgos was one point away from the promotion zone with its worthy victory against Ferrol, the second best visitor in the League.

However, El Plantío, the only undefeated stadium, once again showed strength for a Burgos team that took the three points with goals in the first half from Ojeda and Borja González. Those from Ferrol remain third, three points behind second place.

Furthermore, Tenerife continued its downward crisis with a defeat (1-0) against a Villarreal B team that is out of the relegation zone. Cartagena also added three respite points, with a 1-0 win over Mirandés and Alcorcón that marks the relegation and that beat Andorra (1-0) in a direct duel by the burning.
