Draymond Green is sent off again for hitting Nurkic

MADRID, 13 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green was sent off again in an NBA game after hitting Bosnian center Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns in the head on Tuesday in the loss of the San Francisco team (119 -116) at the Footprint Center (Arizona).

“I'm not one to apologize for the things you do, but I apologize to Jusuf because I didn't mean to hit him, I swung and unfortunately hit him,” Draymond Green told the media after the match.

The American power forward was expelled from the game in the third quarter, when the score was in favor of his team (60-65) in a game where he was not shining too much with only two points scored.

The referees reviewed the play and indicated that the action was a type 2 flagrant, so Green, 33, went to the locker room early in what is his third expulsion so far this season.
