Intense weekend for Javier Bardem y Penelope Cruz at the San Sebastian Film Festival. On Friday night, the interpreter of Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez received the Donostia 2023 Award and during his speech he moved Penelope Cruz. The restaurant, located in the Guipuzcoan town of Villabona, belongs to the prestigious chef Pedro Subijana. So, as expected, the restaurant boasted of the moment when the Bardem Cruz couple chose their restaurant for dinner after the Opening Gala of the San Sebastian Festival.

Along with this short note praising the artists’ friendliness and naturalness, the establishment also published a nice snapshot of Penelope and Bardem posing with the three-star Michelin chef. In the snapshot, the Hollywood stars pose smiling, with the award in hand and dressed in the same clothes they wore at the festival.
During these days, Javier and Penelope also visited the Hika txakoli winery, located in Villabona, Guipuzcoa. Although it is a young and modern winery, it prides itself on producing an exclusive and elegant txakoli, designed to be enjoyed in good company. During their visit, they were accompanied by their friend, the director and screenwriter Fernando Leon of Aranoa.
