Diego Martínez gives his players rest until Saturday afternoon

The coach of the Pomegranate,, Diego Martinez has given its squad two and a half days of rest, so the rojiblanco team will not return to training until Saturday afternoon to start preparing for next Wednesday's game against Valencia at the stadium New Los Cármenes, last of the year.

He Pomegranate lost this Wednesday in the fiefdom of Real Madrid (2-0) in his last commitment as a visitor in 2020 and returned to the Andalusian capital just after the crash to begin his Christmas rest period.

Diego Martínez has given his players permission until Saturday afternoon, which will be when they return to training for Wednesday's game against Valencia.

These two and a half days of rest is the longest vacation period for the squad since a very demanding campaign began in terms of number of matches, alternating LaLiga Santander, the Europa League and the Copa del Rey.

In fact, Granada is the Spanish team that has played the most games so far this season with a total of 24 official matches played.

The density of matches will not be reduced for the Andalusians after this small Christmas break, since they will then play five in the fourteen days that go from December 30, when they receive Valencia, and January 12, the day in which it is measured against Atlético Osasuna in a duel postponed in its day.
