Didier Deschamps, French coach, has been concerned at a press conference about the situation of Antoine Griezmann at Barcelona. According to him, the forward is not happy at the Camp Nou, something that can directly affect Les Bleus in the next Nations League matches.
“I am speaking frequently with Griezmann and I will see him later, but I am sure that he is currently not happy with his situation at Barcelona. I do not interfere in the use of my players, and less in Barcelona. Griezmann is currently playing on the right wing, but we do not understand the fact that he is not playing in a more centered position”Deschamps assured the media today.
The former Olympique de Marseille coach has used Griezmann as second striker since he landed in the French national team, a position that is far from Koeman's, since with the Dutchman he has played on the right wing during the initial stretch of La Liga. The French international will try to regain sensations in the national team break in which France is playing through to the final phase of the Nations League.
