MADRID 2 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canadian cyclist Derek Gee (Israel-Premier Tech) culminated this Sunday in the general of the 2025 edition of O Gran Camiño after arriving in the squad in the final stage in Santiago de Compostela, where Magnus Cort (one-X Mobility) took the triumph to the Esprint.
Derek Gee happened to Jonas Vingegaard as the fourth champion of the Galician round. The Canadian cyclist took advantage over his rivals in the counterreloj of Ourense and the mountainous stage of Lugo, and barely suffered to protect the yellow until the end.
In this last stage, which left Betanzos, Cort beat again in a reduced sprint. The Danish corridor took the general classification of points with his third stage. For his part, Derek Gee also won the mountain classification.
The O or Camiño podium was completed by the Italian Davide Piganzoli (Proteam Polti VisiMalta) and Cort himself, 35 and 38 seconds from Gee. The best Spanish was Iván Cobo (Kern Pharma) at a minute and 15 seconds from the champion.
