Deportivo keeps the faith. Or as the scarf sent by the Miau-Miau club of Barcelona to the blue and white footballers says, still stands. The defeat against Betis on matchday 20 was tough, especially due to the consequences of once again being the red lantern of the Primera Iberdrola, but there are reasons to believe. The sports calendar brings four games against direct rivals for salvation in his next five official dates. In them, they will recover their two postponed meetings, something that can help them catch a breath and get into the fight for permanence.
It will not be easy, of course, because the teams that Deportivo face are playing exactly the same thing: staying in the First Division. Thus, those of Manu Sánchez are focused on getting the maximum possible positive results, starting with the clash against Rayo next Sunday 28, at 12:00, in Vallecas. This week the blue and white do a total of four training sessions to start preparing for a crash – postponed from day 7 – especially important for your aspirations.
Noelia Villegas will not be there, a fixed one in Sánchez's scheme, having to serve a sanction for his expulsion against Betis. Conversely, Yes, Stephannie Blanco and Noelia Bermúdez will arrive on time, concentrated with the Costa Rican national team until February 24.
The one with Ray, in Vallecas, it will be only the first of the finals that Deportivo will face next month. Then, Sporting Huelva will come, postponed from matchday 17, at home (March 3); the Real society, at home, on March 7; again the franjirrojo team, on March 14, in Abegondo; and Logroño, away from home, on the 21st of that same month. If they get the maximum possible points in these five games, a good part of the Blue and Whites' chances of salvation will pass. With the calendar in hand, Deportivo keeps the faith.
