Celta de Vigo midfielder Denis Suárez confirmed this Wednesday that the club’s new sports adviser, the Portuguese Luis Campos, told him of the board’s intention to transfer him before the transfer market closes due to his ‘divorce’ with the president Carlos Mouriño due to the departure of the young Bryan Bugarín.
The departure last summer of the youth squad from Celta to Real Madrid caused the breakdown of relations between Denis and the club’s largest shareholder, who accused his agency of representation -Intermedia Sport Player- of “marketing and auctioning with children”.
“Through Luis Campos they told me that they do not count on me due to the situation that everyone knows. I consider it an unfair situation because I have already offered the club a solution by offering to negotiate without intermediaries through the medium, ”explained the soccer player to TVG after visiting the children of the campus that bears his name.
Denis also revealed that other Celta teammates have renewed with the club without having disassociated themselves from the representation agency vetoed by Mouriño.
“Other players have renewed and are still linked to the agency. So, I think the other party really has to say why they don’t count on me”, he pointed out.
The former Barcelona soccer player made it clear that at this start of the preseason he is being “one more” and that coach Eduardo “Chacho” Coudet “counts” on him and that, therefore, he hopes to find a solution.
“The club told me that it was going to help me find a solution but for now they haven’t told me anything else. I want the best both for myself and for the club, today I can’t guarantee anything, ”she stressed.
