Decathlon proposes its ebikes as a rapid and sustainable alternative in urban displacements

MADRID 3 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Decathlon sports design and distribution company proposes the use of its different Ebike models as a rapid and sustainable alternative to carry out the displacements in large cities.

In some cities in Europe, more than 35 percent of its residents use the bicycle daily as a means of transport. This is the case of Groningen (46%), Amsterdam (39%) and Copenhagen (35%), and Decathlon is confident that some city of Spain is also part of this list of clean and sustainable mobility.

In spite of the difficulties that society faces daily due to the big jams, which generate high rates of pollution and environmental noise, it is still difficult to find practical alternatives that solve them.

In this sense, Decathlon proposes their ebikes, which combine quality, design, accessible price and are designed to be easily reparable by their team of experts.

In addition, they can be connected to the ‘Decathlon Ride’ application to access data in real time, statistics after carrying out a route and software updates.

The E-Activ 100, Decathlon’s new electric bicycle, is a very versatile model, ideal for both weekend getaways through the countryside and for daily displacements through the city. The Actv acronym symbolizes the word ‘active’ and means that it is prepared for all people who wish to adopt a more active lifestyle.

To get the most out of Ebike, Decathlon proposes two routes to tour Madrid and Barcelona, one from the Casa de Campo to the historical case of the capital of Spain crossing the Royal Palace, and another in the city of Barcelona, 40 kilometers and with a finish line with a meal by the sea in Sitges.
