‘Decathlon’ has launched a rental program for days that allows users to enjoy ‘paddle surfing’ in an accessible and more sustainable way than the usual property system and with which it shows “its commitment to the circular economy, facilitating the access to sport.
The company indicated that this program is available in 67 stores on the peninsula, mainly located near the coast, and offers paddle surf boards to rent for one or more days at a competitive price that ranges between 30 (1 day) and 72 euros (4) and that can be done both as a ‘pack’ for practice individually, or in company.
The available packs are the ‘Paddle Surf 11’ for one or two people and which consists of an ideal inflatable ‘paddle surf’ board, with oar, keel and inflator, and recommended for weights over +80 kilos and with a maximum load of 230 kilos; and the ‘Paddle Surf 10’ for one person and whose main difference is that its maximum load amounts to 320 kilos.
‘Decathlon’ recalls that all products rigorously go through the stages of repair, verification, cleaning, safety and fine-tuning by its experts, a process that guarantees the quality and optimal condition of the items available for rental, and that customers will be able to contract the service from their rental ‘site’, in addition to managing whether they wish to extend the duration or return the products, counting, at all times, with the help of one of their experts.
The company also stresses the benefits of practicing water sports in summer and, specifically, ‘paddel surfing’, which offers a series of benefits for physical and mental health at all ages and levels of physical condition. This activity provides a complete exercise for the whole body, improves balance, coordination and also reduces stress while helping to improve cardiovascular health.
