MADRID, 17 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The sports equipment design and distribution company Decathlon has invited Madrid residents to participate once again in the events for Mobility Week, from 16 to 22 September, including a bicycle route through the Madrid town of Alcobendas next Sunday.

With the aim of encouraging a change in habits in society in favour of healthy mobility, promoting knowledge of it and offering its customers the opportunity to experience sustainable travel, the company has organised a week full of activities to contribute to raising awareness about the benefits of this type of mobility for people, society and territories.

To this end, on September 22, Decathlon, in collaboration with the Alcobendas City Council, will organize a bicycle route through the city. The activity will begin at 10 a.m. and is aimed at the whole family. The starting point will be on Salvador Allende Boulevard and will end at the same place where Decathlon tents will be set up to carry out workshops and different tests of personal mobility vehicles.

In addition, on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 September there will also be workshops on bicycle maintenance and benefits of using them, led by Decathlon experts, in different stores across Spain.
