Decathlon expands its rental service and adds ski and snow equipment

The sports equipment distribution company Decathlon has expanded its rental service and incorporated ski and snow equipment so that its customers can enjoy winter sports in a more accessible way and as a commitment to the circular economy by offering options with a lower impact environmental.

The rental of ski and snow equipment is available in 7 stores in Spain, Majadahonda, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Oviedo, Sant Boi, Puerto Venecia, Granada and Barakaldo.

In this way, those looking to enjoy snow sports will have the possibility of easily renting the equipment while en route from the city to the slopes located in Navacerrada, the Cantabrian Mountains, the Pyrenees and the Sierra Nevada.

Users will be able to find out about the stores where they can find this service on the Decathlon rental site. They will only have to access the website, select the date and enter their zip code to find out the nearest store where the equipment is available, in addition to managing whether they want to extend the duration or return the products.

Likewise, they will have the advice of Decathlon experts who will guide them in finding the equipment that best suits their needs during sports practice.

Within this service, Decathlon highlights the importance of the reconditioning process for rental products. All of them rigorously go through the stages of repair, verification, cleaning, security and tuning by their expert teams.

For several years, the company has been committed to incorporating the circular economy into its business model to promote accessibility, sustainability and provide additional initiatives to its customers.

From its Second Life service, through which customers can buy and sell sports products that they no longer use, or repair and maintenance. Thanks to a complete workshop service to extend the useful life of the products that customers can access either in their nearest store or through the website.
