The Dutch player Frenkie De Jong is the big news on the squad list of FC Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernández, ahead of this Saturday's duel against Valencia CF in Mestalla, corresponding to matchday 17 of LaLiga EA Sports.
De Jong, who was the only one who did not finally travel with the team to Belgium for the final match of the Champions' group stage against Antwerp (inconsequential 3-2 defeat), is now available for Xavi and will play at Mestalla.
This Saturday, starting at 9:00 p.m., will be the penultimate official match of the year for Barça that will host Almería at home on December 20, just before traveling to Dallas to play a friendly against Club América of Mexico.
Before the announcement was made public, all the available players of the first team trained in the Ciutat Esportiva, with the presence of Astralaga, Kochen, Marc Casadó, Alarcón, Aleix Garrido, Héctor Fort, Cubarsí and Marc Guiu from Barça Atlètic.
The list of those called up for Mestalla is the following: João Cancelo, Balde, Araujo, Ferran Torres, Pedri, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Iñaki Peña, João Félix, Christensen, Romeu, Sergi Roberto, De Jong, Gündogan, Kounde, Astralaga, Lamine Yamal , M.
