DC United-Toronto suspended for a positive on COVID 19

Major League Soccer announced that the match they were to play this Sunday D.C. United and Toronto FC have been suspended and will be rescheduled due to an unconfirmed positive from one player and another inconclusive within a second.

As part of the league's health and safety protocol, clubs go through an exam the day before the game. D.C. Saturday Medical Exam Results United and Toronto FC produced an unconfirmed initial positive case for one player, and an inconclusive result for another player.

Due to the clubs arrival date in Orlando, League protocol requires that both teams go through medical tests on the morning of the game and wait for the results of those tests before playing.

The MLS will inform in the near future when the game will be played.
