Daniel Sancho: the letter that the Thai police sent to the Prosecutor’s Office comes to light

Daniel Sancho He is waiting for the Thai Prosecutor’s Office to finish evaluating the police investigation report to send an indictment to the magistrate and for him to set the date on which the trial will be held in the Asian country. This Tuesday, October 17, the extension ended, but the Prosecutor’s Office requested that it be extended for another twelve days to finish issuing its report.

In this context, the letter that the Thai police sent to the Prosecutor’s Office has come to light. The beginning, as shown on Telecinco this Wednesday, is forceful: “Daniel Sancho intentionally killed Edwin Arrieta with premeditation and buried, hid, moved and destroyed the body,” the police wrote verbatim.

Sancho Gracia’s grandson confessed to having murdered the Colombian doctor Edwin Arrieta in a hotel on the island of Koh Phangan on August 2. He could even face a possible death penalty. To avoid the maximum penalty, his defense will try to demonstrate before the Thai justice system that the murder was not premeditated. To do this, the Balfagón-Chippirrás office has worked on a report that can turn the case around and which came to light this week.

On the one hand, they claim that the utensils he bought were for culinary purposes due to his status as a chef and his passion for Asian cuisine. On the other hand, they maintain that the bags do not match the make and model of the establishment where Sancho acquired them to, according to the police, dispose of the dismembered body of the Colombian surgeon. Next week, Daniel could receive a visit from his father, Rodolfo Sancho.
