Damian Lillard scores the first game-winning basket for the Bucks, who beat the Kings 143–142 in OT.

“Man, it’s not my first time,” Damian Lillard said with a smile. Then he walked out of the Milwaukee Bucks locker room without a fuss, to the cheers of his family who were waiting for him.

While that may be true, it was the first time for Bucks fans at Fiserv Forum and his teammates to see “Dame Time” live.

After extra time, the Kings were ahead by four points, but Brook Lopez made a 3-pointer in the corner to tie the game at 141-140 with 11.5 seconds left.

With 5.2 seconds left in overtime and the Bucks down by two, Lillard passed the ball back to Brook Lopez, who immediately grabbed it and ran up the court, pulling up from 32 feet, and the ball went in.

It was an exciting and exhausting 143-142 overtime win for the Bucks over the Sacramento Kings on a Sunday night during Fiserv Forum.

De’Aaron Fox made one of his two free throws before Lillard caught a pass, dribbled across half-court, and made the shot that made the Fiserv Forum crowd go crazy. It was the Bucks’ 15th straight win over the Kings.

With 21 points, 15 assists, and 13 boards, Domontas Sabonis got his 10th triple-double for the Kings.

Giannis Antetokounpo also had a triple-double for the Bucks. He scored 27 points, grabbed 10 boards, and passed the ball 10 times. I added 29 points from Lillard.

Kevin Huerter started after missing Friday night’s 112-93 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers because of a sprained right ankle. He scored 26 points and made six three-pointers. De’Aaron Fox got 32 points, which was the most in the game.

Kings coach Mike Brown stormed onto the playing field with 9:27 left in the fourth and started yelling at referee Intae Hwang.

He was removed right away and had to be held back by Sacramento players. Malik Monk put his arms around Brown and told him to leave the court.

A medical report from late afternoon said Antetokounmpo was doubtful with a sprained right shoulder, but he played in his 29th straight game.

The two-time MVP has only missed one game this season, which was against Toronto on November 15.

The Bucks played the third match in four days without Khris Middleton, who was resting his right knee after surgery.

The Kings made 53 shots in the first half compared to 35 for the Bucks, giving them a slim 68-66 lead. The Bucks made 63% of their shots, including 8 of 14 in 3-point range.

For most of the night, Lillard couldn’t buy a bucket. He made just 9 of 23 shots from the field and only 5 of 13 from deep.

He also missed a 3-pointer with less than 30 seconds left that would have cut the lead to one. But there’s a reason he’s one of the best clutch players in the league, and he’s always sure of himself.
