Crystal Palace distanced themselves from the relegation zone thanks to their convincing victory (4-1) over Watford. The ‘eagles’ chained six games without winning, but they ended their losing streak by thrashing the penultimate classified, who lost a great opportunity to fight for permanence. Things started to go wrong early for the ‘hornets’, who were already losing in minute 15 after a goal by Jean-Philippe Mateta.
