“We have bad news about his injury,” Conte, the Spurs coach, told a news conference. “We have spoken with the doctors and now we have to wait seven to ten days to be able to do another scan and see how long it takes to recover,” added the Italian technician.
Romero is a key player in Tottenham’s defense, first with the dismissed Nuno and now with Conte, since he arrived from Atalanta in the summer.
Lo Celso, ‘touched’
In addition, Conte also confirmed that Giovani Lo Celso has returned ‘touched’ from the concentration with Argentina, but that he is not ruled out to face Leeds on Sunday.
