CP Les Abelles, Spain’s first inclusive rugby champion

CP Les Abelles was proclaimed champion of the first Spanish inclusive rugby championship on Saturday, held at the La Foixarda field in Barcelona, ​​and logistically organized by the Barcelona Universitari Club.

The competition was governed by the knockout system without elimination, overcoming the quarterfinals CP Les Abelles, RC L’Hospitalet, URA Clan vs Rugby and Asociación Trust Rugby International Spain, and qualifying for the grand final for the title CP Les Abelles and Clan TRI Espunra. In the final match, CP Abelles beat Clan Tri Espunra with a score of 7-0 in a very fair match.

The head of Inclusive Rugby of the Royal Spanish Rugby Federation, David Deosdad, highlighted the success of the event, which he highlighted for

his integrity, fair play and love of rugby. “This has been a day to remember, and above all to repeat,” he said.
