the belgian Thibaut Courtoisgoalkeeper of Real Madridcriticized this Thursday, after the victory against Lightning (0-1), the state of the stadium’s grass Vallecasby assuring that it was not “very good” and that it is something that he believes is not “good” for the image of the competition, at the same time that he understood that each team “has its budget”.
“It is always better to play on a good course than on this one. Everyone has their budget and their way, but for the League I don’t think it’s good. If we want to give a good image as a League, the grass has to be good; but it is not easy”, he said at the end of the meeting on Movistar +.
“It was a difficult game. The grass is not very good and there is always pressure from the stands. We were good in the first half but we didn’t score a goal. Keeping a clean sheet has been key to winning afterwards,” he added.
One Courteous that he made up to three worthwhile stops to achieve it and that he regretted not having opened the scoring earlier so that they would have had more peace of mind. “We were very good in the first half. We played a very complete match and we needed to score earlier”, he concluded.
