The Congolese center Viny Okouo, 25 years old and 2.14 meters tall, this Saturday became a new Carplus Fuenlabrada player for the 2022/23 season from Monbus Obradoiro.
“Carplus Fuenlabrada’s inside game adds muscle and power with the arrival of Viny Okouo, who comes from playing last season with Monbus Obradoiro where he played a total of 30 games last season in ACB,” the team reported in a statement.
The center has extensive experience on the national scene and will play his seventh campaign in the highest competition. In the last two seasons he has played in the Endesa League with GBC and Monbus Obradoiro. His best performance so far came with the Gipuzkoans with averages of 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
“Together with Dusan Ristic and Osas Ehigiator they will form a good trio for the top five position in which Josep Raventos can intersperse different types of players depending on what the game demands,” said Carplus Fuenlabrada.
