The passage of time is inevitable for any mortal. shell velasco, at 83 years old, lives his day to day in the residence on the outskirts of Madrid where he entered more than a year ago. There he not only receives constant visits from his two sons, Manuel and Paco, but also from his closest friends.
One of the last to visit it has been the journalist paul sebastian: “What I know is that Manuel is charming and every time I tell him I’m going to see your mother, he never troubles me. He always says yes. He tells me take him some chocolate cakes, which is what he likes the most” .
On the state of health of the great lady of the Spanish scene, he adds: “She was small, she has mobility problems. I remember the day I went, she told me ‘help me’, because she was sitting watching TV and to lay her down I had to I had to pick her up carefully so she wouldn’t fall and put her on the bed, she couldn’t do it by herself. She doesn’t hold up well and she’s in a wheelchair.”
However, he has assured that “Concha de la cabeza is very well” and that they have even been encouraged to “sing” together during their visits. “We started to sing that ‘mom I want to be an artist’, she remembers everything and she tells me that she was very happy working with me. I sing to her, I tell her about movies…”. In addition, the time she spends with her loved ones fills her with energy: “She has many friends who go, many actors, and sometimes her son has to stop us because we all want to go. She loves that they visit her.”

Months after getting off the stage in September 2021, the great lady of the Spanish scene entered a residence in the Madrid neighborhood of Cuatro Caminos. However, a short time later she changed to the center where she is located on the outskirts of Madrid, in Las Rozas, because it was better suited to her needs, as Informalia advanced exclusively.
In October of last year, his medical team at Puerta de Hierro had to coordinate with that of the residence due to a setback in his state of health. Since then, her concern for the actress has increased, although at 83 she is in the best of hands and surrounded by the love of her children, loved ones and her friends. At the end of the year, in addition, she was admitted for a few days in the hospital.
