MADRID, 13 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
American point guard Chris Jones – with an Armenian passport – underwent successful surgery this Tuesday at the Quirónsalud Valencia Hospital to reduce a fracture he suffered in a finger on his right hand, an injury that will mean he will miss the entire Valencia Basket preseason and also the initial part of the 2024/25 season.
“The operation was successfully carried out by Dr. Vicente Carratalá Baixauli. Due to this setback, Jones will miss the entire pre-season and the initial part of the 2024/25 season. His progress will determine the moment when he will be able to join the training sessions with the rest of his teammates,” the ‘taronja’ club stated on its website.
“The player informed the club that he suffered this injury last week while he was still on vacation in the United States,” concluded the brief press release from Valencia Basket.
