Cholo's nostalgia: “El Calderón was our home and will remain so in our memories”

“I have the best memories of what I have had to experience since the first day I arrived at the Athletic and the Calderón it was our home, and it will always remain so in our imagination, in memories and in spectacular moments lived “, he pointed out Simeone this Monday during the virtual press conference on the eve of Celtic-Athletic.

Simeone, who in addition to coach the Athletic during the last eight and a half years in which he has won seven titles he was a rojiblanco player for five seasons (1994-97 and 2003-05) winning a League and one Copa del Rey in 1996 he was asked about the old river stadium Apple orchards once the City of Madrid announced the end of its dismantling after 17 months of work.
