Nigerian power forward Chima Moneke became a new Baskonia player this Wednesday, after passing through AS Monaco last season to return to the Endesa League.

The charismatic Nigerian interior (Abuja, 1995), 1.98 meters tall, lands in Vitoria-Gasteiz after playing in the EuroLeague Final Four last season and winning the French league with AS Monaco”, announced the Basque painting.
Moneke has experience in Spanish basketball after spending the 2021-22 season at BAXI Manresa, where he averaged 14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and a PIR of 19.2 credits, being chosen in the best five of the Endesa League. In addition, that campaign, the Nigerian interior played in the ‘Final Four’ of the Basketball Champions League and averaged 16.1 PIR points before signing for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA.
