Chelo Garcia-Cortez presented this Thursday in Madrid his most important project: his memoirs, Without tags. The journalist was surrounded by her great friend Barbara King, who came by surprise, and by her children. His wife was not there Martha Rock. The collaborator of Save me He already acknowledged in his program that they have had some friction in recent months, especially marked by the fall and the breakage of Chelo’s radio.
The journalist explained in the presentation: “Marta has not been able to come for personal reasons.” And she added: “Those who have been able to come have come, I just hope the book sells well.”

Apart from Barbara and her children, there were also other friends like Terelu Campos, David Valldeperas, Charlotte Sliding or the reporter Omar Suarezamong others. Victoria Martinof stretching the gumpresented the event, held at the Círculo Bellas Artes in Madrid.
Some of the experiences that García-Cortés goes through in his book are the painful loss of his mother when she was only 11 years old. The journalist’s mother took her own life and, since then, her great pillar was her father. On the sentimental level, she will not overlook her old friendship with Isabel Pantojahis relationship with Jose Manuel Parada, his “night of love” with Bárbara Rey and, of course, his relationship with Marta, with whom he has been dating for more than three decades. They have been married since 2005.

“We have argued a lot, there have been fights because I was not well and neither was she, even Maggy [su perrita] has been affected, the poor thing has turned gray,” confessed Chelo herself in the Deluxe on August 20, when she returned after being operated on for the radio rupture she suffered in May.
The journalist, already recovered from her injury, added: “This has marked me too much. I think that, in the end, it will be positive. There have been very hard moments at home. It has been distressing, terrible, really”. It must be remembered that during this time, Marta also suffered a mishap for which she also had to spend more time than usual at home. She shattered her heel after falling into the pool. “One was lame, the other lame,” Chelo remarked.
In the presentation this Thursday, García-Cortés also named Marta at another time: “All I want is to enjoy many years of the company of Bárbara Rey, Sofía Mazagatos, who is my friend, Sofía Cristo, Marta, of my friends, of my colleagues…”.
