Intercity added three points to their locker after winning 0-1 against Mar Menor this Sunday at El Pitín. The Mar Menor came to the meeting with their spirits reinforced after winning the last two games of the competition. The most recent was against Recreativo Granada away from home (0-1) and the other against Marchamalo at home (3-0) and with a streak of four consecutive victories in the competition. Regarding the visiting team, CF Intercity beat Calvo Sotelo Puertollano at home by 0-1 and previously they also did it at their stadium, against Recreativo Granada by 1-0. After the result obtained, the team from San Javier is fourth at the end of the match, while Intercity is second.
In the first half neither team was successful in front of goal, so the first 45 minutes ended with the same result of 0-0.
In the second half, luck came to CF Intercity, who made their luminous debut with a goal from Villacañas shortly before the end, specifically in minute 86, ending the match with a score of 0-1.
Both coaches made moves on the benches. The Mar Menor coach brought on Andres Silvente and Kleandro for Peque and Sergio León, while CF Intercity brought on Nuñez, Cabrera, Villacañas and Herrera for Carmona, Benja, Pol Roigé and José Manuel.

Thanks to this victory, Gustavo Siviero’s team finished in second place with 56 points and Javi Motos’ team took fourth place with 45 points.
On the next day of the competition, Mar Menor will play against Calvo Sotelo Puertollano at home, while CF Intercity will face Alzira at home.
