Cerezo, in another tribute to the child Saúl from the CD Fairplay Parla

It has been a week since the achievement of the Atlético League title, the eleventh in its history, in Valladolid but it also does so from that sad absence. The death of little saul, a 13-year-old boy who attended the celebrations in Neptuno with family members and died when he hit his head in a parking lot near Cánovas del Castillo square, in Santa Ana. Since then, the red-and-white happiness has been tarnished. In each act, a memory to the little one. Koke did it when on the same Saturday he went to Neptune to put the scarf on him, with a black crepe in his honor. President Cerezo did it during the events of delivery of the Champions Cup, with a heartfelt memory. The club itself did it when on Tuesday it published the Insider of the last game, in which it became champion, on its networks. It had a dedicator: Saúl Bachiller Román.

That same Tuesday, from the little boy's club they prepared a heartfelt and emotional goodbye with an act in which the boy's father and his siblings were present, with all the children of the club in which the CD Fairplay Parla played present and the presence of historical rojiblancos with Luis Pereira and Chacho Heredia, as well as Paulo Futre, who came personally. He was in Madrid and delayed his return trip to Portugal to be present, say his last goodbye to the little one, wrapped in sad cello music and a giant heart made of candles with a ball in the center. It was not the last.

From left to right: Ivan, Saúl's brother; David, Saúl's brother, Francisco Conde, citizen security councilor; Ramón Jurado. mayor of Parla; Iker, Saúl's brother; Enrique Cerezo, president of Atlético; Aurelio, Saúl's father: and María Curiel, councilor for social welfare.

This Saturday, CD Fairplay played a friendly match against Atlético de Madrid Infantil in their honor and with the presence, again, of Atlético. This time from its president, Enrique Cerezo, who wanted to be by the side of the family and the Parla club in these difficult times. He gave his brothers, Iván, David and Iker, and his father an Atlético shirt with the number 15 on the back, the number Saúl was wearing in his team, in Infantil A, and a bouquet of flowers. The first goal of the game, which ended 2-1 for the locals, was scored by Iker, Saúl's twin, with a direct dedication to heaven that shook the hearts of all those present. Rest in peace.
