Celta left Getafe in the bones, crying his luck and who knows if his fate too, with him public leaving the stands of the Coliseum in the absence of a quarter of an hour. Coudet, after two defeats, straightens the course of Celta, who comes out of the bottom and moves away from the relegation places.
A Getafe with five midfielders: Arambarri, Maksimovic, Timor, Florentino and Aleñá. Maksimovic, in fact, acted as a second forward, to the point that when pressing he was even more advanced than center forward Sandro.
Celta came from two defeats. High quality team when looking to the horizon but struggling to find balance in defense
As the two teams felt the urgency in the back of the neck, it did not take long to express their haste to win. In minute 6, Brais had the first chance of the match, but his shot, low, was well stopped by Soria. A few seconds later came the reply with a header from Arambarri that Dituro blocked without problems.
Celta proposed and Getafe was waiting for him. Nothing was going off script. A distant shot from Nolito that was easy for Soria to catch was the most unsettling of the first half hour. Celta’s left wing was the most productive area of the match. It was precisely Nolito who in the 38th minute had the clearest chance, staying hand in hand with Soria losing the duel by guessing his intention to hit the target and blocking his shot. The danger activated Getafe and a minute later the chance was from Sandro, whose shot was deflected from the ground by Beltrán.
In the last minute of the first half, Sandro was injured. Bad news for Quique Flores, because of the three goals that Getafe has scored this season, two were from Sandro and the other from Oblak at his own goal.
Getafe ended the first half badly and got worse in the second. In the 54th minute, a back pass from Timor was intercepted by Aspas, he beat Cuenca in the race and his shot was not a goal because Soria made a save. Soria, by far, was being the best of Getafe, but what he could not do was with Santi Mina’s point-blank shot after the corner kick.
Getafe was really drunk and three minutes later Aspas made it 0-2 by beating Djené’s back after Brais’s poisonous center. The quality appeared. Celta extended advantage. In three minutes, Celta finished the game in three minutes.
A 0-2 is always a juicy advantage, but Djené made it easier with his expulsion after putting his squad on Santi Mina’s ankle. Getafe only had to row upstream and get an Impossible: raise a 0-2 and with one less player.
It was not difficult to guess that the Celtic could extend his advantage and so it happened with another goal from Mina, this time after Galhardo’s heel drop. Celta liked each other. Getafe mourned their luck. Who knows if its destiny too.
