Celta and Mallorca face their contrasting streaks in Balaídos

MADRID, 16 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

RC Celta and RCD Mallorca, both installed in the middle part of the table, close this Monday in Abanca Balaídos (9:00 p.m.) the twenty-ninth day of LaLiga Santander with the aim of adding again after several weeks without doing so.

The Galicians have not lost since February 12 against Atlético de Madrid, and since then they have scored points in the following seven games. However, they have only managed to get a draw in recent days against Almería (2-2) and against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (2-2), a duel in which they saved a point in discount after arriving 2-0 at minute 89.

With this, they are tenth and accumulate 36 points, only two more than their rival this Monday. The vermilion team has only managed three points out of the last 18 in play and needs to add three by three to completely banish the threat of relegation.

Carlos Carvalhal’s team will no longer be able to count on Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Alves, who terminated his contract with the club on Saturday, so Iván Villar, given Agustín Marchesín’s serious injury, will continue to occupy the sky-blue goal. Óscar Mingueza is still injured and Augusto Solari is a doubt after already returning to the group.

For his part, Javier Aguirre will not be able to count on the suspended José Manuel Copete and Jaume Costa, and the injured Ludwig Augustinsson, Dani Rodríguez and Daniel Luna complete the list of casualties.
