Real Madrid Castilla prevailed over UCAM Murcia at the Alfredo Di Stéfano thanks to an excellent second half (3-0). A brace by Dotor in just four minutes and the last goal by Aranda allowed Raúl’s team to continue their good run of results and get closer to the places of access to the promotion playoff marked by San Fernando, now three points behind.
Real Madrid commanded in the first half but could not materialize their chances against a well-equipped UCAM at the back waiting to catch a counterattack. The Whites’ reserve team dominated the game from possession of the ball but lacked more success and threat in the rival area.
In the second half, Castilla pressed the accelerator, moved the leather with more speed and the lanes joined more frequently and dangerously to overwhelm the visiting defense. And so came the first two goals, the work of captain Dotor.
Peter Federico, from the right, put a good cross to Latasa and the ‘9’ headed it into the net Dotor entering from behind. With no time for UCAM to rebuild from 1-0, Dotor hit a great header to Santos’ center from the same band to put land in between on the scoreboard.
The Murcian team lowered their arms before the white superiority and Aranda, after a good combination with Arribas, scored the final 3-0 after leaving a defender behind and shooting the visiting goalkeeper. With everything resolved, the game had no more history for a Castilla that continues to grow and get closer to the goal.
