Castellón-Lugo is delayed four and a half hours

The match of the sixth day of LaLiga SmartBank between Castellón and Lugo has been delayed four and a half hours due to the case of coronavirus that has affected the Galician team and will finally be played this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at the Municipal de Castalia, according to LaLiga has confirmed.

The match, which will mark the debut of Mehdi Nafti as coach of the rojiblanco team, was scheduled for 4:00 p.m., but its start has had to be rescheduled as has Lugo's trip to Castellón.

The rojiblanco team has postponed for the same day of the meeting the displacement that was going to make this Friday. The reason has been the positive in coronavirus of a player from the subsidiary who trains with the first team and who came to put in check the debut of Mehdi Nafti on the bench of the rojiblanco team, in which he replaces Juanfran García.

The training before the game has been conditioned by this contagion and has given way to PCR tests on the entire team, coaching staff and the rest of the usual expedition.

The rojiblanco team explained that “due to this and always in communication and joint work with LaLiga, the trip to Castellón” was “postponed” until this Saturday “pending the results of the tests practiced.”

“This conditions us, of course, and it is somewhat complicated, but we have to live with it. The first thing is the health of the player, not the trip. Now we depend on LaLiga, but we have a very professional working group at the club and We have several options for tomorrow, “said the new Lugo coach at his appearance.
