Carvajal, until 2024 with Real Madrid

Dani carvajal is one step away from coming to terms with the Real Madrid to extend his contract until June 2024, as published this Friday by several Madrid media. Currently, the 28-year-old full-back's commitment expires in June 2022 but the white club are delighted with his performance and want to 'tie him up' before he enters that period of time in which other clubs could be interested. In any case, the intention of the footballer has always been not to listen to anyone other than the Real Madrid.

In principle, the conditions of the new contract are adjusted to the salary adjustment that the merengue entity wants to carry out with the staff due to the economic damages suffered as a result of the coronavirus.

Since Carvajal returned from his training period at Bayer Leverkusen, he has become a fixture with all the coaches who have passed through Real Madrid. Only injuries have separated him from the team, like the one he has suffered for a month and from which he hopes to be recovered at the end of November.

Carvajal's renewal is also part of the plan that Real Madrid has established with those footballers who end a contract soon, as is the case of Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric or Lucas Vázquez. The center-back is also close to continuing two more seasons, as was his wish, at the cost of not increasing his income. Modric asks for one more year, while it is not so clear that Lucas Vázquez will continue.
