Cartagena goes back to Eibar and Burgos draws a good draw

MADRID, 27 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Burgos scratched an important point (2-2) against Real Zaragoza this Sunday on matchday 17 of LaLiga SmartBank, although they did not avoid giving up second place in the table, while Cartagena came back from behind (2-1) against Eibar in the minute 96 and Levante could not (1-1) with Lugo.

The Castilian team added in El Plantío against a Zaragoza team that went ahead twice, thanks to a goal by Curro Sánchez in the 92nd minute. Atienza had made it 1-2 a couple of minutes earlier, on his own goal, but Burgos showed that he is maintaining blind confidence in their options to make a splash this season.

On the other hand, the hand team does not change their luck with Fran Escribá on the bench. The point is worth little to a Zaragoza pending the lower zone, while Burgos is left with 31, third, although tied with second, a Las Palmas that won the derby on Saturday against Tenerife (3-1).

Levante was able to push the places for direct promotion even more, but they stayed at 28 points after their draw (1-1) against a Lugo that made its coaching debut with Fran Justo. With controversy to share and complaints for both for a disallowed goal and a penalty, Sebas Moyano put the locals ahead looking to get out of the relegation zone, but Campaña equalized on a penalty still in the first half.

Meanwhile, Cartagena took a direct duel against Eibar in the last breath thanks to Ortuño. Yanis Rahmani put the Basques ahead after nine minutes, but Efesé reacted in the second half with a goal from Sadiku from a penalty and the sentence in discount. Cartagena is fifth, beating an Eibar that closes the promotion zone, with 28 points for 27.

In addition, Granada was seventh with 25 after losing in Leganés 1-0, playing 88 minutes with one less for the red card for their goalkeeper Raúl Fernández. Dani Raba gave the three points to a cucumber team that is beginning to believe in reaching the playoffs.
