Carreño, surprised by Coria before Roland Garros

The Argentine tennis player Federico Coria will be in the round of 16 of the tournament in Lyon (France), which is played on clay, after beating Spanish debutant and second-seeded Pablo Carreño this Thursday, in two sets by 7-5 and 6 -3, in the first meeting played between both tennis players that left the Argentine as one of the eight best in the tournament.

The Argentine tennis player was very solid and went over one of the favorites to win the tournament, Carreño, being much more effective with 13 games won over the 8 that the Spaniard won. Coria won the first set against the Asturian who did not know how to react. In the second set Carreño was ahead of Coria, but the number 59 in the ATP world ranking resolved the match and went on to the next round, after defeating the seventeenth in the world tennis ranking.

Coria still does not know his rival for the quarterfinals and this one will come out of the matchup between Karen Khachanov and Alex Molcan this Thursday.
