MADRID, 5 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) has joined the Italian company OTK Kart Group, with which he was linked in the first years of his career, to create 'CS55 Racing Kart', his own range of products for the karting.
OTK Kart Group is a world leader in the field of competition karts and has 40 years of experience in the design, creation and marketing of chassis, engines and accessories.
The man from Madrid represented the OTK Kart Group brands during his time in karts and also raced for the official team, Tony Kart Racing Team. Among the prestigious results they achieved together, highlights include victories in the 2008 CIK-FIA Asia-Pacific Championship and the 2009 Monaco Kart Cup in the KF3 category, as well as the runner-up title in 2009.
This collaboration is evident in the first kart model of its product line with the new CS55 Racing brand. Created from a 30 millimeter diameter steel tube structure, it is available in single-brand Junior or Senior versions with a single speed or with a gear lever. The official colors will be black, red and yellow, chromatic elements that distinguish the image and helmet of Carlos Sainz.
“CS55 Racing is an exciting project for me. OTK Kart Group is the international reference in the world of karting and I couldn't be prouder to collaborate with them. I feel like it's squaring the circle for our past together and everything it represents. “Let the drivers of tomorrow pursue their dreams with this kart. We have worked for a long time to make it possible and I am already looking forward to seeing it compete and win on the track,” said Sainz.
