Cadiz starts badly against Zaragoza and Mirandés beats Córdoba

MADRID, 16 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Cádiz lost (0-4) at home this Friday against Real Zaragoza in the first match of LaLiga Hypermotion, while Mirandés took the three points against Córdoba (1-0).

The Andalusian team suffered a setback at the start of what they hope will be their return to the First Division after being relegated last summer. Paco López’s men angered Nuevo Mirandilla a lot in their presentation, conceding two goals in each half.

A double from Mario Soberón, plus goals from Aketxe and Luna, brought down a Cádiz side that, trailing behind, had neither the judgement nor the aim to get back into the game. The team from Zaragoza, who have not been fighting to return to the elite for some time since their relegation in 2013, were filled with confidence to start this new season.

In the other match on Friday, Mirandés took the three points in Anduva thanks to the saves of Raúl Fernández, especially on occasions by Jacobo, and the commitment of a team that was aware of the transfer market but capable of competing. Alberto Reina scored the only goal of the match in the first half against a Córdoba that was not successful.
