by Dior for the first time to kick off the Olympic Games

There is only one day left until the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which are being held in the French capital until next Sunday, August 11. King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia have conveyed their full support to the athletes at the reception for the members of the Spanish Olympic Team that took place on the afternoon of this Thursday, July 25, at the Spanish Embassy in Paris.

For this event, the Queen wore a Dior dress loaned by the French firm, paying tribute to the fashion of the neighbouring country. It belongs to the Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture collection, created by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The dress is made up of a black velvet top with a halter neckline and rhinestones. The lower part is made up of a flared skirt made of silk, sequins and crystals, which stylizes her silhouette.

A pair of black pumps from the French brand, matching the top, completes the outfit. Due to her ailment in her right foot, she has again opted for a low-height shoe, which only raises her about four centimetres off the ground. These are the Adiorable model. Next to her is Felipe VI, who has opted for red for his tie.
