Burgos will host the 2024 Wheelchair Basketball King's Cup

The José Luis Talamillo sports center in Burgos will be the venue for the 46th edition of the Copa del Rey wheelchair basketball, which will be held between February 23 and 25 with the top eight finishers in the league championship at the end of the first round.

The competition, which for the second edition will be held in three days instead of the usual two days of previous years, will begin on Friday the 23rd with the quarterfinals, while the semifinals will be held on Saturday the 24th and on Sunday the 25th, in the morning , the final.

The participants will be the top eight finishers in the League at the end of the first round. So far Ilunion, Amiab Albacete, Bidaideak Bilbao, UCAM Murcia, Econy Gran Canaria, Iberconsa Amfiv and Amivel are classified; A place remains to be defined between Fundación Aliados de Valladolid and Servigest Burgos with the postponed matches for the eighth place.

Ilunion is the most successful team in the Copa del Rey with 19 titles, ahead of Ademi Málaga (10), ONCE Andalucía (7), Virgen del Rocío (4), ACE Gran Canaria (2), Bidaideak Bilbao (2) and Amiab Albacete (1). The last two editions were won by Bidaideak Bilbao, who will defend their title in the city of Burgos.
