Bullfighter Pepe Luis Vázquez dies at the age of 67 due to a possible domestic accident

Bullfighter Pepe Luis Vazquez Silva He died this Friday at the age of 67 on his farm in the Seville town of Carmona. The landlord of the farm was the one who found the lifeless body of the bullfighter. Although the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, it is pointed to a possible domestic accident, as reported by the newspaper ABC.

The bullfighter was recovering from the stroke he suffered five years ago. Despite the severity of that stroke, which paralyzed half of his body, Pepe Luis recovered and returned to bullfighting three years after the accident.

Pepe Luis Vázquez Silva was born in Seville on June 9, 1957. The bullfighter made his debut in his homeland on August 15, 1979 and, two years later, in April 1984, he took the alternative in the Andalusian capital at the hands of his uncle Manolo Vázquez, with Curro Romero as a witness and with bulls from Jandilla.

The bullfighter was the eldest son of the master Pepe Luis Vázquez Garcés and the grandson of José Vázquez. During his last years of life, Pepe Luis lived in the countryside and visited the cattle farms of Zahariche, Cortijo de la Sierra and Majavieja.
