Brutal judicial setback against Rocío Carrasco, convicted and fined for not paying her son’s pension

The judges don’t seem to buy the story of Rocio Carrasco and, according to the sentences, the woman of Fidel Albiac is not a victim but rather executioner: the one who was a star of Telecinco for two seasons, for the 27 chapters of the docudrama on her life, has been sentenced by the judge for not paying her son’s pension. Rocío Jurado’s eldest daughter, who can appeal, will have to pay David the 13,200 euros that she owes him and also face a fine of 900 more euros. The good news is that she is spared from going to jail.

Rocía Carrasco has been sentenced to a fine for not paying the pension to Rocío Flores’s brother for 66 months, the result of her marriage to Antonio David. Rocío Carrasco is guilty, as the journalist announced this Tuesday Luis Rendueles.

Judge Juan Antonio Toro, head of number 23 of the Criminal Court of Madrid, condemns Rocío Carrasco Mohedano as “the author responsible for a crime of non-payment of pensions” to her son David Flores Carrasco. The ruling of July 31 can be appealed before the Provincial Court of Madrid.

The magistrate considers it proven that Rocío Carrasco has not paid her son the 200 euros per month to which she has been obliged since January 2018 by a decision of the Violence Against Women Court of Alcobendas.

66 monthly fees

The judge sentences Carrasco to pay a six-month fine at a rate of five euros per day (900 euros in total) and to compensate his son with 13,200 euros plus interest for all the time (66 monthly installments, five and a half years) that he did not has paid the pension.

The judge imposes Carrasco the lowest possible sentence for that crime. The Penal Code punishes with between six and 24 months of fine and up to one year in prison the crime for which the daughter of Rocío Jurado has been convicted. In her trial, held on June 28, her prosecutor requested a much higher fine of 10,800 euros for her than the one that was finally imposed.

The ex-wife of Antonio David Flores assured during the trial that she had tried to pay her son, but that all her assets had been seized by the Tax Agency, but the judge does not believe the arguments of the protagonist of Tell the truth to stay alive now banned in Mediaset.

The private prosecution, which represented the son, David Flores, withdrew during the trial. The young man, who suffers from a disability, explained in the room that he only wanted to receive the money that corresponds to him, and her lawyer withdrew the request for a year in prison for Rocío Carrasco. In the oral hearing, the request for the other daughter to testify as a witness was also withdrawn, Rocio Flores.

Carrasco also unsuccessfully tried to have the legitimacy of her ex-husband, Antonio David Flores, rejected to join the accusation against her, but the magistrate did not admit her request. According to the judge, Antonio David maintains parental authority “extended” about your child, because, despite being of legal age, he has a disability. David Flores “has no independence or autonomy of his own,” the sentence emphasizes.
