Brazil called up Bruno Guimaraes, from French Lyon, to replace Real Madrid player Casemiro for the games against Venezuela and Uruguay of the South American qualifying rounds for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, as reported this Saturday by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
Guimaraes will replace Casemiro, who tested positive for covid-19, as Real Madrid communicated this Saturday to the Canarinha medical department.
Guimaraes was part of the list of substitutes called by the coach of coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, Tite, and had been related by coach André Jardine, of the Olympic team, who will play two preparatory matches this month.
