A few days ago we were facing a great loss in the world of acting with the unexpected death of Marisa Paredes at 78 years of age: “Spanish cinema is left without one of its most iconic actresses” leaving “a long career in which the public has been able to see her on more than 74 occasions on the big screen.”
Many well-known faces showed their pain after the loss, many others also came to say goodbye to her for the last time… Brays Efe took advantage of the presence of the press a few days ago to remember her.
“It was a horrible way to wake up today, it’s just that suddenly…” commented the actor and had some nice words for her: “Marisa Paredes is a super inspiration for any actor in this country, I think, and she has so many iconic works that come to me”.
In addition, he spoke about the “black list” of harassment in the world of acting and explained that “we have all heard things, sometimes one doesn’t have, they have heard something, but they don’t have any proof or anything, but I try when I have heard something and I have private conversations with people who ask me about these topics, give an unfiltered opinion and say what I have heard.
Of course, doing that “is different to say it in public because when you don’t have proof you can’t… but then, sometimes they call you and tell you one story or another and you don’t really know what to make of it” and he sent a message: “I think that sometimes people think that, because names are not appearing in published media, there is not a change, and I think there is a change.”
