Borja Moreno Santamariawho was the second husband of Matilde Solís-Beaumont and Martínez Campos, has died suddenly after suffering a myocardial infarction this Tuesday. The ex-husband of the Sevillian aristocrat was at the family estate located in the Huelva town of Nerva, when he began to feel bad, and after attending the medical services, they could not do anything to save his life.
Moreno was Solís’s second husband after “almost” becoming Duchess of Alba with her former first husband, the aristocrat Carlos Fitz-James Stuart. Matilda is the mother Carlos y Fernando Fitz-James Stuartcurrent Duke of Huéscar and Count of Osorno, and of Borja Moreno Solisson of the deceased, who just turned 18 years old.
With Borja, Matilde had found happiness in her day after the stormy life suffered while she was home with the current Duke of Alba. That relationship failed due to the sexual abuse she suffered from her psychiatrist, Javier Criado. In 1999, Solís shot herself with a hunting shotgun and was seriously injured. What happened was disguised as a “domestic accident”, but later it was learned that it was a suicide attempt.

The aristocrat’s second marriage took place in 2003 and shortly after they had their first child, Borja, although the relationship deteriorated and they divorced just five years later, with a rather bitter judicial war.
After separating, the 55-year-old Sevillian businessman dedicated himself to his activities within the agricultural and livestock sector, and began a new sentimental relationship with a well-known photographer, also from Sevillian, to whom he remained happily attached and from whom he I was currently in love. Borja lived in the town of Sanlúcar la Mayor, very close to Seville, where his family comes from.
For this reason, the deceased barely maintained contact and relationship with his first wife. She is the daughter of the Marquis de la Motilla and Borja Moreno and they only spoke about issues related to her son. After the young man came of age, the contact was totally broken.
The funeral was held in private with the family and a mass for Borja Moreno will take place in Sanlúcar la Mayor in the coming days.
