Bordalás: “The players needed this victory”

The Getafe coach, Pepe Bordalás, declared this Sunday after his team's victory at the Ramón de Carranza stadium against Cádiz (0-2) that his players “needed this victory”, which he also dedicated to his fans.

The Madrid coach sent a message to his fans at a press conference and hoped they “enjoyed”. “It goes for them too, although unfortunately they cannot attend the Coliseum,” he said.

“When the results do not arrive you feel a certain concern in quotes, we have had very good games without success and fortune. We have reaped unfair defeats and bad results,” said the Getafe coach.

Regarding the meeting, he indicated that Getafe “entered a serious, very tactical game well, and competed with great order” and that they took “the initiative in the first half because they hardly generated anything.”

About the second half, he added that Cádiz introduced changes with “people with a lot of air power, but only in centers did they generate concern”, and insisted that they had “the party controlled.”
