Have you enjoyed your last party at the Coliseum?
Now we are happy and we only think about enjoying the objective accomplished. Very important for the club and the fans. A tough season that I give a lot of credit to. The team has never stopped working. It has been a great season despite getting the permanence on the penultimate day.
Your most nervous party on the bench?
We have all lived it with a lot of tension. The team started the game well. Then came Angel's injury, with one less they made us a draw and the team played with that responsibility. We needed victory, we transferred it to the sparks and that second goal arrived. It was worth the suffering.
Why didn't you go out to the center of the field to celebrate?
I was celebrating with some players who were in the stands or the bench. Then they came in and we all celebrated together in the locker room. Thanks to our fans.
How do you rate the season?
It is too early to do an analysis. It has been the best season at the helm of Getafe, I give it a lot of credit. Sin sweats the best as a professional for everything that has happened. Being the least successful team in the championship, we managed to score the points to save ourselves. You have to congratulate the boys.
What do you say to those fans that are waiting outside the stadium?
I can only say thank you. First to my president who trusted me. We have known how to suffer and I thank the fans. Upon arrival my hair stood on end. I would have liked them to come in and experience it with us.
Will you continue at Getafe next year?
Right now we are enjoying the triumph and the permanence. I am very happy here, this is like my home. The president has congratulated me as I have congratulated him. We have had many misfortunes this year. We have had a bad time and now we are happy.
