Blind people will be able to enjoy the Spain-Georgia in Valladolid

MADRID, 7 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spain-Georgia match, corresponding to the qualifying phase for the 2024 Euro Cup in Germany and which will be held on November 19 at the José Zorrilla in Valladolid, will once again have the specific narration system for blind people, announced this Tuesday the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

This system debuted on March 25, 2022 at La Rosaleda in Málaga, and facilitates the monitoring of blind people both from inside the field and from anywhere in the world.

The initiative consists of the descriptive narration of the matches, through the broadcast in a specific application, without advertising, comments or distractions other than those of the game itself, of the RFEF ‘Narrative for blind people’.

This is a good way to follow the game from home, but using the application when watching the game inside the stadium provides a “global” and “absolutely enriched” experience for blind people who choose to purchase their ticket.

The RFEF opted for this tool 18 months ago, which guarantees universal access to football. Last September 26, narration for blind people debuted in a match of the women’s team, in the Spain-Switzerland that was played at the Nuevo Arcángel in Córdoba.
